Netanyahu Asks Israel to be Prepared to Face Retribution for Death of Hamas Boss

ENTRE News – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that the country is ready for all scenarios that must be faced following threats of retribution for the murder of Hamas boss, Ismail Haniyeh, which is strongly suspected to have been carried out by Tel Aviv. According to Netanyahu, every aggression against Israel will have a response.

“Citizens of Israel, challenging days are coming. Since the attack in Beirut, there have been threats heard from all directions,” Netanyahu said in a televised statement, as reported by Al Jazeera, Thursday (1/8) early morning WIB .

“We are ready for any scenario and we will be united and determined against any threat. Israel will demand a heavy price for any aggression against us from any arena,” continued the 74-year-old man.

Netanyahu also said Israel had dealt heavy blows to Iran’s proxies over the past few days, including Hamas and Hezbollah. The missile hit killed Haniyeh, on the other hand, Israel has not officially acknowledged being the perpetrator of the attack on the Hamas leader who was in Tehran.

After Haniyeh’s death, images spread across social media of Israelis handing out sweets or other food, and in one supermarket in Jerusalem, a table of crackers was set out for shoppers to take free under a sign that read, “Long live the Israeli people.” Both Israeli officials and citizens were in a cheerful mood celebrating the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in an airstrike in Tehran.
