ENTRE News – Senior commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ahmad Haghtalab said Tehran would use nuclear power as a strategy to face Israel. This was done because Israel insisted that it wanted to respond to Iran’s attack last weekend.
“The threat of the Zionist regime (Israel) against Iran’s nuclear facilities allows us to review our nuclear doctrine and deviate from our previous considerations,” said Ahmad Haghtalab.
The day after Haghtalab’s statement, Israel launched an attack on the city of Isfahan on Friday (19/4). In the Isfahan region itself there is a nuclear facility, one of the largest in Iran. Iran has always claimed that its nuclear program is solely for peaceful purposes. However, this claim was denied by the United States and other Western countries.
Iran’s nuclear facilities were in the spotlight after Israel launched an attack on the city of Isfahan, Iran. Iran has officially closed its nuclear facilities temporarily indefinitely FOR4D. Western countries’ concerns about Iran’s nuclear facilities have increased after Iran began considering nuclear weapons as a weapon in 2019.
Iran also received several sanctions for its nuclear development from the United Nations (UN), the European Union and the United States. This is because Iran is said to have most of the material to make nuclear weapons. However, Haghtalab FOR4D still insists on using nuclear weapons as a weapon because according to him, Israel will attack Iran’s nuclear facilities at any time.
“If the Zionist regime wants to take action against our nuclear centers and facilities, we will definitely respond with advanced missiles against their own nuclear sites,” Haghtalab said.
