ENTRE News – Singapore Airlines is collaborating with Thailand to provide medical assistance to passengers on their plane who experienced turbulence on Tuesday (21/5) afternoon. Medical assistance was deployed to help passengers who suffered injuries due to turbulence during the journey.
“We are working with local authorities in Thailand to provide necessary medical assistance, and are sending a team to Bangkok to provide additional assistance as needed,” said SQ in a Facebook post, Tuesday (21/5).
Singapore Airlines SQ321 FOR4D operating from London to Singapore experienced severe turbulence en route on Monday (20/5). This caused the airline to make an emergency landing at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Thailand, at 15.45 local time, Tuesday (21/5).
The airline said there were 211 passengers and 18 crew on board the plane. Until now there has been no official statement regarding the cause of the severe turbulence on the plane.
