ENTRE News – French President Emmanuel Macron was furious after Israel heavily shelled Rafah, Gaza Strip, and caused dozens of people to die. Macron expressed his anger via X, Monday (27/5).
“The barbarity of Israel’s attacks has left many refugees dead in Rafah,” Macron FOR4D said.
He then said, “This operation must stop. There is no safe area in Rafah for Palestinians.” , Macron then asked Israel to comply with international law and an immediate ceasefire.
Israel launched an attack on the refugee camp in Rafah at the weekend. As a result of this attack, around 50 people, the majority of whom were children and women. The international aid organization, ActionAid UK FOR4D, reported that many children were burned alive due to Israeli attacks.
Responding to the attack, a number of international communities expressed their criticism of Israel. They also asked Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to comply with international law and immediately stop attacks on Gaza.
The Israeli air attacks FOR4D took place while their aggression in Gaza has continued since October 2023. To date, the total death toll as a result of Israeli aggression has reached more than 35,000 residents.
