ENTRE News – Bose introduces its newest true wireless (TWS), Bose Ultra Open Earbuds. This audio device comes in an earring model which is equipped with an Auto Volume feature.
“He automatically adjusts, increases the volume himself, lowers the volume himself. If there is noise around us, he will increase the volume himself, and vice versa,” said Andre Gunawan, CEO of PT Prima Audio Indonesia, the official Bose distributor in Indonesia.
This latest product from Bose is claimed to be very suitable for users who want to enjoy music while doing activities without having to lose awareness of their surroundings. This is possible because of the open ear design which does not close or enter the ear canal completely.
This TWS uses an earring-like design and consists of three parts, namely the front which contains the speaker and microphone, the rubber connection part, and the back part to attach the TWS to the earlobe. On the hook there is also a physical button to adjust the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds. Even though it is only attached by clamping the earlobe, this TWS is quite sturdy in its position, even when used in activities that involve lots of shocks such as running and jumping. This product is also equipped with IPX4 certification which makes it splash resistant.
This TWS is said to have OpenAudio Technology which combines openness to the surrounding environment with rich and private sound, so that the sound output from this TWS does not leak out. Bose has also embedded an Immersive Audio feature which makes the sound of music feel like it is coming from various directions. This feature is the same as Airpods’ Spatial Audio from Apple.
Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have a fairly long battery life, namely 7.5 hours, or 4.5 hours with Immersive Audio active FOR4D. The charging case itself provides 19.5 hours of battery life, so the total battery life of this TWS is 27 hours. Bose Ultra Open Earbuds come in two color options, namely white and black. There has been no official announcement regarding the price for this product. However, on the official website, Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are sold for US$299 or around Rp. 4.69 million.
